We wanted our love to be eternal. You know, Katniss and I were luckier than most. I wouldn’t have any regrets at all, if it weren’t… if…if it weren’t for the baby.

"Men celebrated our sexual liberation — our willingness to freely give and enjoy blow jobs and group sex, our willingness to experiment with anal penetration — but ultimately many males revolted when we stated that our bodies were territories that they could not occupy at will. Men who were ready for female sexual liberation if it meant free pussy, no strings attached, were rarely ready for feminist female sexual agency. This agency gave us the right to say yes to sex, but it also empowered us to say no."

"You two have managed to accomplish something together no one ever has; you surprised me.”

I’ve been fucking waiting for this photo set right here, and let me tell you why. Monsters University quickly became my favorite movie due to a single fact, that these two? They failed. They actually went to school and they failed, they didn’t get brought back in, they didn’t make a miraculous come back at the end, they fucking failed College.

But that didn’t stop them. Through hard work, perseverance, and taking opportunities that came a long instead of just settling for where they were at, they were able so still make it to where they wanted to be.

That is super powerful, it gives you hope, knowing that college isn’t the only way. Because you know what? It isn’t, you don’t have to go to college to get to where you want to be or to be happy. You just got to take chances, take opportunities, swallow that fear and do things to help change your life for the better. If you believe college is it? Fantastic! Go for it!

However, remember: Life is never over if you fail something. You just got to look for opportunities to bring yourself back up.

I gotta admit, I was a semester away from flunking out. My mother cried for days and due to other circumstances, I couldn’t even go back. I twiddle my fingers, took some bs summer classes, got a C in one class and an F in the other.

I got a job randomly as a dog food nutritionist. They trained me and made sure I was on top of my biology and Nutrition. I was also working full time (kinda) at a photography studio. That was cool. I was a photographer-dog food-nutritionist.

Then I quit the photo job to pursue a career as a Veterinary Technician. I got hired at the convenient pet hospital not to far from my house. Come to find out, they will train you on the job to be a VT/VA (Veterinary Assistant) and if you are lucky, they will pay for you to become certified. They will pay for you to go to school! My job has benefits, PTO and other perks that basic jobs do not really have. I do not have a college degree. But I have a great job with options to grow within the company. I have friends who have graduated with degrees and honors. Yet they are stuck making around $8/hour with no benefits, no PTO, nothing.

Do not give up. There’s hope. There are companies out there that will help you better yourself.

Take it from the writers of Pixar

I just learn how pointless college might be?
